GENERAL PROMOTIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Promoter and Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (“General Terms”) apply to all customer promotions (“Promotions”) operated by Shipleys (comprising of Amuse 2016Limited, SJRP Investments and MS Entertainments) who are all Gambling Commission licensed operators, at its Adult Gaming Centre and Bingo premises (“Premises”).

Each Promotion is operated by Shipleys (“the Promoter”) and participation is between the Promoter and the individual customer (“the Customer”).

  1. Application of Terms

Each Promotion may also be subject to specific terms and conditions (“Specific Terms”) which set out the individual promotional mechanics, eligibility criteria, prize details and any significant conditions.

These General Terms apply in conjunction with the applicable Specific Terms. Where there is any inconsistency, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

By participating in any Promotion, Customers are deemed to have read and accepted both the General Terms and the Specific Terms.

  1. Eligibility and Age Verification

Promotions are open only to Customers who:

  • Are 18 years of age or over
  • Are legally permitted to gamble in Great Britain
  • Are present on the Premises at the time of participation (unless otherwise stated)

The Promoter operates a Challenge 25 age-verification policy. Valid photographic identification may be required. Failure to provide acceptable ID will result in exclusion from the Promotion.

  1. Social Responsibility and Fair Participation

Entry to a Promotion is in the discretion of the Company but will be free of charge and entrants will be under no obligation to engage in any other gambling while on the Premises in order to take part in the Promotion unless clearly stated to the contrary. Promotions are not linked to any of the Customer’s gaming machine winnings, nor does any gambling directly influence or enhance an entrant’s chances of winning a prize.

Promotions will not be structured to encourage excessive play, extended sessions, or irresponsible gambling behaviour.

  1. Promotional Mechanics


Unless otherwise stated:

  • Prizes are allocated fairly and at random
  • Allocation may be conducted via supervised draw methods or computerised random number generation
  • No machine outcome or level of spend will influence prize allocation

  1.  Disqualification and Abuse

The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any Customer from a Promotion where there is reasonable belief of:

  • Fraudulent or abusive behaviour
  • Manipulation or attempted manipulation of promotional mechanics
  • Breach of venue rules or responsible gambling policies

Where a Customer is excluded from the Premises, they will be unable to complete or benefit from any Promotion.

  1. Prize Fulfilment

Unless otherwise stated in the Specific Terms, prizes will be fulfilled within 7 days of the Promotion ending. Alternative arrangements may be agreed with prize winners where appropriate.

  1. Publicity and Winners

By participating in a Promotion, Customers consent to the publication of their name (or first name and initial) in connection with prize awards, unless consent is withdrawn in writing prior to publication.

  1. Changes to Terms

The Promoter may amend these General Terms with at least 24 hours’ notice, unless urgent or unforeseen circumstances apply. In such cases, reasonable steps will be taken to ensure Customers are not unfairly disadvantaged.

Copies of these General Terms and any applicable Specific Terms are available:

  1. Customer Submissions

Where Promotions involve Customer submissions (including written, photographic or video content), copyright remains with the creator. By participating, Customers grant the Promoter a non-exclusive right to use the material for promotional purposes. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by written request or the opt out features in the promotion.

  1. Data Protection and Marketing

Personal data collected as part of a Promotion will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at https://shipleysbingo.com/privacy-policy/

  1. Accuracy of Information

All reasonable steps are taken to ensure promotional information is accurate at the time of publication. The Promoter is not responsible for errors or omissions arising from genuine human error.

Gambling should be an enjoyable leisure activity. Customers are encouraged to gamble responsibly and within their financial means.

Premises staff are not authorised to vary or waive these General Terms or any Specific Terms. Any assistance provided by staff does not override these Terms.

GENERAL PROMOTIONAL CONDITIONS

  • Promotions may be delivered via SMS, email or physical in-venue materials
  • Unless otherwise stated, Customers may receive a maximum of one promotional offer per day
  • Qualifying stake requirements apply to cash match and free spin offers
  • Certain game categories (including roulette and equivalent titles) may be excluded
